A message from Business Manager Richard Drey
Labor Day is this Monday, September 4th, a date celebrating the creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of the American worker. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
This Labor Day, take a few minutes to look at the great history of the Labor Movement in America. As IBEW members, we have the unique ability to learn about our union's history at the IBEW Museum in St. Louis. It's your history, learn it and maybe even think about what you might be able to do to contribute to the future history of the labor movement.
Use your hard earned day off as a chance to appreciate your family, friends and Union Brothers and Sisters. We own this day because we earned this day, take pride in your Union and keep our unity and strength going!
